  • How do I know if counseling is right for me?
Generally speaking, someone should engage in counseling when stress, anxiety, or the struggles of life interfere with becoming one's best self. Think of counseling as a personal investment that emphasizes mental growth and facing life's challenges.
  • What can a counselor tell me that I don't already know?
Our counselors provide expertise that goes beyond what you might find through self-help methods or informal advice. As licensed experts in mental health, relational issues, and substance abuse recovery, our counselors can identify underlying patterns and behaviors that contribute to the challenges you're facing. These professionals use evidence-based techniques to uncover root causes, offer personalized strategies for coping and improvement, and facilitate a deeper understanding of oneself. Additionally, our counselors provide a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, offering insights based on extensive training and experience that help uncover underlying causes of distress and guide you towards long-term recovery and balance in your life.
  • What if I can't come into the office for counseling appointments?

  • How do I know if the Restore Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is right for me?
Determining if the Restore Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is right for you involves evaluating several factors related to your personal and treatment needs. Our IOP is designed for individuals who desire a structured therapeutic setting but do not need the full-time care provided by inpatient treatment. This program is ideal if you: Are struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse, or addiction but wish to maintain aspects of your daily routine, such as work or school. Need more support and structure than traditional outpatient services can offer but have a stable and supportive home environment. Are committed to attending multiple therapy sessions each week and participating actively in your recovery process. Have completed an inpatient program and need a step-down level of care to continue your progress in a less intensive, yet still supportive, environment. Are motivated to make significant changes in your life and are seeking comprehensive treatment that includes individual therapy, group therapy, and educational workshops. Our experienced counselors assess each client's unique situation and needs through an initial evaluation. This helps determine if our IOP is the appropriate level of care for you. If you think you may benefit from structured, intensive outpatient support, we encourage you to contact us for a consultation to discuss your specific needs and how our program might help restore balance to your life. The IOP consists of 7-12 weeks of 10 hours of therapy per week: 9 hours of group process education and 1 hour of individual/family therapy.
